WHAT SETS OUR TURF APART
At CLPM Turf Services, we believe the best way to develop the best lawn is to test the soil. Based off this test, we develop a program custom designed to your lawns needs. We primarily use organic fertilizers to help reestablish the ecosystem in your soil. Creating a lush, healthy and green turf that are enjoyed by all

GET YOUR SOIL RIGHT
Your soil is the single most important thing about your lawn. As you can see in the pictures on the right, the first photo shows an extremely unhealthy, sandy and dry soil consistency. The picture on the right shows what only one season of our organic fertilizers and compost soil amendment can do to improve your soil health.

WHY ORGANICS
Synthetic fertilizers may seem like a cost effective way to give your lawn nutrients. But have you ever asked your fertilizer company for the Safety Data Sheet (SDS)? Pictured here is a portion of a very common starter fertilizer SDS sheet used by contractors throughout the United States. The second picture is one of the starter fertilizers we use. Needless to say, the pictures speak for themselves!

Not only are these synthetics harmful to your family and the environment, they provide short lived nutrients and can prevent the lawn from developing vital resources naturally. We believe using slow release organic fertilizers and bio-stimulants to enhance the microbial activity in your lawn to help it create its own nutrients.
OUR ROOTS
Did you know that cool season turf grass can grow roots up to 4 feet deep? You read that right, 4 FEET! As you can see in the soil sample pictured on the left, not only is the root system a few inches at best, the lawn is being choked out by a very thick thatch layer. This decreases the amount of moisture your roots can absorb and increases likelihood of disease in your turf.
